Have you, or would you display an article of clothing this way? I think it can be done in a very chic and simple way, and it's a great way to preserve something special. And talk about a conversation starter!

How fun is all of this?!?! Totally love the look of framing meaningful and vintage pieces.
I love this idea of framing vintage and meaningful pieces of clothing. It brings a personal and unique touch to any decor, plus the 3D aspect of it makes it all the more interesting. Super post Nancy thanx! Going straight to my Pinterest!!
i think this is SUPER cool. did you see Adrienne's wedding dress from RHoOC? It's in a glass case in her hallway and i thought that was an amazing idea. i would like to do something like this if i had a special article :)
LOVE this idea- just made me think about framing my kid's Christening dress...thank you!

Yes I sure would. We have a few pieces of my Grandmother' and Great-grandmother's needle work. How fortunate to have these beautiful pieces, now to preserve them correctly so that our family can view them for years to come.
Last year I was lucky enough to decorate a precious bedroom for a little girl. We live at the beach, so I framed three swimsuits from her first summer. So, we have three tiny little suits framed in shadow boxes. It actually was the perfect thing! Quite a conversation piece, too!
I totally would! I think it's an awesome idea .... need to go into my attic and check what I have, I know my mom has some pretty "nifty" stuff. .... I knew you'd like that word "nifty" :-)
yes...I too would frame a beautiful piece.
